Where there's smoke there is fire

To anyone listening,

Today I decided to go with a post a little less intense than the others.  Yesterday, as I was getting ready to shower, one of the smoke detectors went off.  Quickly I rushed through my mind what it could be.  Was I cooking something in the oven?  No...  Did I have a candle burning?  No...

OH CRAP!!!!!!!!!!

I ran to grab a robe and thought CATS!  I have to run to the basement and get the carriers and try to get them as they hide, always in the most inconvenient places. Then suddenly, it stopped.  I stayed dressed and out of the shower until right before my doctor's appointment just in case.  Btw, I think I should get my own parking spot and room at the doctor by now for how many times I'm there.  Just a side note.

This morning I woke up with a bad headache and a sore throat.  I decided to take a nap and FIRE FIRE.  Of course it didn't go off when my tall husband was home to check the smoke detectors.  Same thing happened again but this time, it didn't stop!!  It kept going off randomly.  I was on the phone with my friend Lisa and the poor girl was listening as this stupid thing kept randomly going off.

I slowly started to remove each detector and still it went off.  I have one left and guess what?  I can't reach it even with the step ladder.  YEP! I just want to bash them all with a hammer. So this will be my day it seems.  That's awesome.  Well, if nothing else it keeps my mind off things sometimes, right?

Lies

 To whoever is listening:   I'm trying to figure out what are truths and what are lies... for myself, from others, for those I love. It is a painful thing to watch someone who means the world to you get lost in lies and destruction. I am not one to smile all of the time. I am one who has a sensitive heart. I am one who has hope in others but none in herself. I think about it but haven't given up.
