buy buy baby
To anyone listening,
Buy Buy Baby...
Thank you so much for calling and reminding me that I had a registry on file marked private and that my shower date was coming up so I should make it public. I was supposed to have my shower on July 15th (thank God my friend Maria agreed to hang out with me that day).
After I had the miscarriage, we removed all our registries and returned gifts. Buy Buy Baby however did not let us delete the registry but said we can only make it private. After my phone call today reminding me of my shower, I had returned the call to ask again if I can delete the registry. I talked to the first woman and explained that I would like to delete our registry but my husband was told it could only be marked private. I had a miscarriage and would like it removed if possible. She said with an attitude "Oh, (sigh) hold on while I transfer you." Hold on while you transfer me?!? How about saying I'm sorry..let me get your information and I will have that taken care of. That would have been better. Way to be sensitive.
I was transferred and this woman said "Well ma'am, I can't do that. I will have to transfer you." Again, way to be sensitive.
I reached the third person and she said "Ok, we will see if we can do something about it." and then she just hung up. Each time I had to repeat, "I had a miscarriage..." Why in the world would a company act like that in such an insensitive way? Remind me never to go there again for any gifts.
Thank you to my friend Laurie and my husband who was mad with me and would have written a letter to corporate for me because obviously I shouldn't have to deal with employees like that.
I appreciate them leaving me in tears later because I think repeating "I had a miscarriage" to people over and over is making this sooooo much easier. UGH!!!!!!!!!!
Well..BYE BYE Baby
